ROANE COUNTY
RESCUE SQUAD
Mission Statement
Roane County Rescue Squad: Established in 1959.
Provide Emergency Rescue Services to the citizens, visitors and surrounding counties with the highest standard of care possible and to support all local and state response partners.
We will succeed in this mission with integrity, knowledge, professionalism and the dedication of our highly trained volunteers.
Move ahead the community relationships by working in partnership with our response partners, county and city leaders, and the general public. This will be achieved by community outreach events, public education, public safety and rescue training programs in the community.
Roane County Rescue Squad Prayer
Lord, prepare us to be a rescuer as You have rescued us.
When the call comes out, night or day, equip us to be ready in a moment’s notice.
Let us be ready to serve our community as we serve You.
Lord, lay the groundwork for our training as You are our foundation. Let us cling
unto our skills, so that it may bring You glory. When our patients see no hope, let
us bring aspiration.
When they have no voice, let us be their cry.
Let our minds be steadfast, our feet ready to move, our hands ready to give, and
our hearts be pure as you have shown to us.
Make our tools as an instrument of
Your hands and our vehicles a beacon in the night, as You are a light into our path.
As we return, let us know that we have done Your work, and we give You all the glory
and praise.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
